Job Description
The Product Manager/account manager is responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes:
- Managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the co-owners of the company, business relations, and the manufacturer in Taiwan
- Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
- Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product.
Skills
- 1-3 years of product management/ account management experience.
- Knowledgeable in technology, preferably with microscopes or optical instruments.
- This position requires travel to customers all over Europe (about 15% of the time).
- Fluency in the English language is required, and in the German language is an advantage
